    • Pass/Fail Day 1 Testing - SIMs Lab: Must be able to complete SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion & central line dressing changes, except for NyICU & ED which have separate guidelines.

      • Shifts: 7a-7p; 7p-7a
      • Weekend Requirement: Required to work weekends in rotation with core staff
      • Holidays: in rotation with staff

        • Ratios: 1:3, 1:4 for non step-down/PCU patients
        • EMR: Cerner

        • Nurse Aides: PCT/Nursing Aides on days and nights

        • Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: on day shift, ED MD responds for all emergencies, intensivist rounds on ICU

        • Floating: Yes; Tele and MS Tele, possibly Laveen campus
        • Floor specific orientation: Yes
        • Additional Notes: Nursing, PCTs and CNs draw labs as there is no phlebotomy; EOW, Days, Holiday Rotation
