  • Regional hospital in the beautiful White Mountains of Arizona has a need for a L&D Travel Nurse.
  • Three 12-hour night shifts per week with guaranteed hours and no cancellations.
  • With a plethora of outdoor activities and only a couple of hours to Flagstaff and Phoenix, this is the perfect opportunity to experience the best of Arizona!
    • Job Requirements
    • Candidates should have ACLS, BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring, at least 3 years of experience, and an active AZ or compact license to apply.
    • ACLS, BLS, NRP, Intermediate or advanced Fetal Monitoring Required.
    • 2 years of experience required.
    • Must be proficient in fetal monitoring and the actions taken for fetal distress.
    • Must be able to care for patients with pre-eclampsia.
    • Clinical background in high risk patients. Since there is NOT an in-house OB, so the nurses need to be very proficient with their assessment skills and be able to handle OB emergencies until the provider arrives.
    • May float to other units of hospital (usually MedSurg) if needed.
    • Must be able to function in L&D and couplet care.
      • Schedule Information
      • Start date: ASAP
      • Orientation: Every Monday
      • Shift & Scheduling: - Nights 6p-6a Days 6a-6p
      • Weekend Requirement: 3 weekend shifts per 4 week schedule minimum.
      • Floating Requirement: - May float to ED or MS if experienced
      • Call: one shift per 4 week schedule
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Respiratory Therapist in unit 24/7
        • Support staff on unit: Patient Care Technician, Health Unit Secretary
        • Nurse manager occasionally see patients (when needed)
        • 2 years of experience required
        • 3+ years of experience required
        • C-section experience required
        • Support staff on unit: OB scrub tech, HUC
        • OB/Neonatologist not in house
        • 24/7 pharmacy in house

          • ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, BLS, NIHSS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
