• NIHSS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program).

  • Regional hospital in the beautiful White Mountains of Arizona has a need for a L&D Travel Nurse.
  • Three 12-hour night shifts per week with guaranteed hours and no cancellations.
  • With a plethora of outdoor activities and only a couple of hours to Flagstaff and Phoenix, this is the perfect opportunity to experience the best of Arizona!
    • Job Requirements
    • Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience.
    • An active AZ or compact license to apply.
      • Schedule Information
      • 12-hour night shifts.
      • Start date: ASAP
      • Orientation: Every Monday.
      • Shift & Scheduling: Nights 6p-6a Days 6a-6p.
      • Weekend Requirement: 3 weekend shifts per 4 week schedule minimum.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • 7 L&D beds
        • 2 Triage beds
        • 10 Postpartum beds
        • 1-3 births per day
        • 830 births per year
        • Ratios typically 1:2
        • Nurse manager occasionally see patients (when needed)
        • Support staff on unit: Patient Care Technician, Health Unit Secretary
        • Support staff on unit: OB scrub tech, HUC
        • Must be proficient in fetal monitoring and the actions taken for fetal distress.
        • Must be able to care for patients with pre-eclampsia
        • Clinical background in high risk patients.
        • Must be able to function in L&D and couplet care.
          • Additional Details
          • Floating Requirement: May float to ED or MS if experienced.
          • May float to other units of hospital (usually MedSurg) if needed.
