Job Description:
A company is looking for a Charge Assurance Specialist to
coordinate revenue management opportunities and ensure optimal
charge capture.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with Charge Assurance Auditor to resolve charge capture
issues leading to claim errors
Monitor and resolve charge-related claim edit work queues and
dashboards
Review patient accounts for charge accuracy based on regulatory
guidelines and hospital policy
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
1-3 years of charge capture experience (preferred)
1-3 years of patient accounting systems experience (preferred)
Familiarity with medical records review and claims processing
Fundamental knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid guidelines
