This Construction Accountant - $60K/year Position Features:

Immediate need for construction accountant - $60k/year seeking great pay, family friendly environment and benefits.

Qualifications: Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong analytical ability

Positive attitude

5+ years accounting experience

General Ledger:

Month end closing process

Evaluating recurring monthly procedures and other areas of responsibility to optimize process and control improvements

Monthly account reconciliations

Financial statement analysis

Prepare account and statistical analysis and reports, as needed

Fixed Asset Accounting:

Provide supervision and review over fixed assets

Review recording of fixed assets and depreciation and reconciliation between subsidiary ledger and general ledger

Ensure fixed assets are properly capitalized in accordance with US GAAP

Education:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting/Finance is required

Proficiency in MS Office Applications
