About the RoleBanner Health is seeking a highly skilled Sterile Processing Technician to join our team at Banner Gateway Medical Center in Gilbert, Arizona.This is a full-time position with a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays. • Decontaminate and sterilize surgical instruments using specialized equipment
• Assemble and package surgical instruments for use in the operating room
• Maintain accurate records of instrument inventory and sterilization cycles
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure timely delivery of instruments and supplies
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safetyRequirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of experience in a sterile processing or surgical instrument setting preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
